Will my Dinner Triangle rust ?

We coat them with a high polymer sealer. They are made of steel and if kept in the rain they will rust. As we like to say "They get some character". If you don't like the rust; you can use  a green scrubber pad, or steel wool to take off the rust. Spray with urethane once the rust has been removed.

How long will it take to receive my order ?

Delivery time can vary depending on which items you order and where it is being shipped. Most items we have in stock and can ship out within 48 hours. Your order will be delivered within six weeks. You will receive a conformation via email when we ship your items. If we are unable to ship to you within six weeks we will keep you informed via email as to the estimated time of delivery.

Why do I need to register with a user name and password to order items ?

We require a user name and password to protect you. We hold your personal information in the strictest of confidence. With out a unique user name and password anyone would be able access your information and possibly use it to place orders in your name. We want to make sure it is you that is placing the order and not some crook. Please don't give your user name and password to anyone else.

What if I lose or forget my password?

You can go to the Lost Password page and fill out the information there. Once we receive your request and verify it is you we will email you your password through a secure email.

When will you charge my credit card ?

 When your items are ready for shipment we will process your charge card. If your card is accepted and authorized we will ship your items. You will receive a conformation via email when we ship your items.

How should I care for my hand forged ironwork

You should care for your ironwork just as you would any other fine piece of metalwork. Ironwork will not tarnish like silver, copper, or brass. There is no need to polish it.Your ironwork from Mountain Stream Forge has been finished with a high polymer sealing wax. It will darken some with age. As long as you keep it dry and clean it will last a lifetime. Do not wash your ironwork with soap or water. If you do need to wash your ironwork, or accidentally get your ironwork wet, dry it immediately. If some rust does appear a green scrubber pad, or steel wool should take the rust off. To keep your ironwork "shiny" spray with a fine mist of furniture polish. Wipe immediately with a clean soft cloth.

I don't like to give my credit card over the internet. Can I order by phone?

Sureon all orders over $100! We will gladly accept your order over the phone. Or you can order online and call later with your credit card number. We are available Monday - Friday 9:00am - 4:00pm Pacific Standard Time.

I prefer to pay by check. Do you accept personal checks?

Yes we will accept your personal check, cashiers check, or money order. You can order online and select personal check  as payment method. We will hold your order for up to five days. Just pop your check in the mail. When we receive your check and it clears our bank (up to ten days) we will ship your order.

Can we come to your shop and buy your products?

We don't have a showroom or store front. Just the blacksmith shop where we do the work. We enjoy having visitors, and we certainly will not turn down your money if you want to buy something. Please call before coming out so we can greet you properly.
